I was doing some temporary work recently and arrived early one morning to catch this classic office conversation between two world-weary employees:
Lady 1: (heavy sigh) "Ah...well at least we're still breathing."
Lady 2: "Yes, we can't ask for much more than that can we?"
Me:(thinking) "Really??? Wow!"
I shared this story with a few friends who laughed, one said: "Yeah, some people don't ask for much more than breathing in and out."
